I’m excited to announce that the Palm Springs Art Museum awarded me “Visual Artist of the Year!!” I look forward to working with them and doing an exhibition of existing and new work.
On the 9th of December, 2023, I presented at the 8th Annual Official Latino Film Festival’s inaugural event at the Palm Springs Art Museum. During the festival, I was invited to discuss my career in Computer Animation and my current work in Generative AI.
I was screening my new short film Mitla | Underworld, an all-generative AI piece I did with Disco Diffusion, Pytti, and Stable Diffusion. This short film is made with Machine Learning techniques that use word description to generate imagery. Designing visual metaphors and representations of ideas surrounding the ancient yet unexplored site and caverns of Mitla in Oaxaca, Mexico.
