Abstract animation tests using Generative AI and Derivative TouchDesigner
It uses generative AI to create experimental animation that uses prompt-morphing for animated visual design. Image morphing offers some continuity. However, the graphic’s strength comes in the artwork’s designed meaning, the visual content, and the context in which it is shown.
For example, generative AI can create experimental animation that plays with transformation and change. A series of morphs between different character designs or environments may have meaning when shown contextually evolving and changing over time. It is a design structure used in many different contexts to explore themes such as growth, evolution, and transformation should make compelling animated artworks.
Using generative AI in animation allows for more flexibility and creativity in the design process, as it can handle complex tasks that might be difficult to achieve otherwise quickly. For example, animators can create generative AI morphs and transformations, dynamic and expressive animation, and explore new ways of telling stories through visual design.
This is a collection of tests for generative AI animation. The images represent notions of design that I’ve been exploring for the past 1 & 1/2 years.
Generative AI is a powerful tool for creating experimental animation that transforms and evolves. Using prompt-morphing techniques, animators can create visually striking images that explore growth, evolution, and transformation themes. The strength of this developing animated content with Generative AI lies in the meaning the artist can imbed, the stunning visuals, its context, and the speed of accessing ideas when developing content. Through generative AI, animators can create complex morphs and transformations, dynamic and expressive animation, and explore new ways of telling stories through visual design. In addition, this technology allows for more flexibility and creativity in the design process, making achieving impressive and intricate results easier.
